Asian Ground Beef Stir Fry with broccoli, onions and peppers

Prepare this easy and delicious Asian Ground Beef Stir Fry. This dish is full of flavor and protein and is sure to be a hit with the whole family.


Ingredients


For the Stir Fry

  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 Tablespoon minced ginger

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 head of broccoli florets

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 cup chiffonade fresh basil

  • 1 package of Ramen noodles-cooked

For the Sauce

  • ½ cup beef broth

  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon mirin

  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil

Method

  1. Combine the beef broth, cornstarch, soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat

  3. Add the ground beef and cook, making sure to break up the larger pieces of meat, season with salt and pepper

  4. Once the meat is cooked, add the ginger and the garlic, and stir until fragrant

  5. Add the vegetables into the pan, stir, and cook with the meat for about 2-3 minutes

  6. Add the sauce to the pan and lower the heat to medium

  7. Continue to cook until the sauce thickens; add the cooked Ramen and the fresh basil, and stir well

Plate and top with green onion and sesame seeds, and enjoy this tremendous Asian ground beef stir fry today
