Buffalo chicken tacos have shredded chicken in spicy buffalo sauce, served in soft tortillas. Toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing add balance. They’re great for parties or quick meals.
Buffalo Chicken Tacos
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust based on your spice preference)
8 small corn or flour tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)
Method
In a large bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce until it is well-coated. You can adjust the amount of sauce to suit your desired level of spiciness.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add a little olive oil and warm each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side, just until they are pliable.
Start by placing a few spoonfuls of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla.
Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and blue cheese, if using.
Drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing on top.
Sprinkle with fresh cilantro or chopped green onions if desired.
Serve the tacos warm, accompanied by extra buffalo sauce on the side for those who prefer a spicier flavor.
