Homemade Mustard
Ingredients
¾ cup yellow mustard powder
1 cup water
½ cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon paprika
Method
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the mustard powder and the water until smooth, then add the vinegar and seasonings.
Pour the mixture into a small saucepan or pot and bring it to a quick boil. Reduce the heat and simmer on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow to thicken.
Remove from heat and cool.
Store it in a sealable container in the refrigerator. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
