A-1 Steak Sauce


Ingredients

  • ½ cup water

  • ¼ cup golden raisins

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar

  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard

  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 garlic cloves cut up

  • 2 tablespoons cut up onions

  • ½ teaspoon celery seed

  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ orange cut up


Method

  1. Add all the ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

  2. Strain the sauce through a sieve or cheesecloth into a separate bowl.

  3. Chill thoroughly in the refrigerator.
