Peri Peri Sauce
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons minced fresh garlic
1/ medium red onion
3 Tablespoons sweet paprika
½ cup fire-roasted red peppers
5 fresh habaneros
1 Tablespoon red pepper seeds
¼ cup red wine vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Method
Blend all the ingredients in a blender, food processor, or NutriBullet until a smooth mixture is formed.
Heat the mixture in a pan on a slow simmer for about 10-15 minutes
Cool the mixture properly
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months
Makes roughly 2 cups
