Peri Peri Sauce


Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 2 Tablespoons minced fresh garlic

  • 1/ medium red onion

  • 3 Tablespoon sweet paprika

  • ½ cup fire roasted red peppers

  • 5 fresh habaneros

  • 1 Tablespoon red pepper seeds

  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon oregano

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender, food processor or nutra bullet until it is a smooth mixture.

  2. Heat the mixture in a pan on a slow simmer for about 10-15 minutes

  3. Cool the mixture properly

  4. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months

Makes roughly 2 cups
