Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry


  • 1 red pepper, rough cut

  • 1 onion, rough cut

  • 1 head of broccoli cut into florets

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced

  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced

  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced

  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 Tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch

  • 1 Tablespoon water


  1. Add the vegetable oil to a large skillet or wok over medium-to-medium high heat, allow the oil to get hot

  2. Add the garlic and the ginger and stir until fragrant.

  3. Add the broccoli florets, peppers, and onions, and stir well and allow to cook about 4-5 minutes

  4. Add the chicken, and continue to cook until the vegetables begin to soften

  5. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce and fish sauce and continue to stir fry

  6. In a small bowl, add the cornstarch to the water to make a slurry, then add the slurry to the center of the wok/pan and stir until the sauce begins to thicken

  7. Turn the heat down, continue to stir and allow to heat throughout

  8. Serve on rice or with noodles, top with sesame seeds and green onion slices
