6 ounce can tomato paste
¼ cup honey
½ cup white vinegar
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Whisk until smooth.
Heat over medium heat until boiling, then turn down and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat, pour into another container, and cool completely.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator
