Mushroom Melt Sandwich


  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil, divided

  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced

  • ½ Tablespoon marjoram

  • 1 Tablespoon rosemary

  • 1 Tablespoon garlic butter seasoning

  • 4 slices rye bread

  • Muenster cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Wash and slice the mushroom

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil

  3. Add the mushrooms

  4. Sauté the mushrooms with the marjoram, garlic butter, rosemary, salt, and pepper for about 10 minutes until the mushrooms are soft-set aside off the heat

  5. In a separate pan, use the other half of the oil and grill the bread with the cheese on top

  6. Add the mushroom on to the cheese, and add the other slice of cheesy grilled bread to make a sandwich

Serve with chips and a pickle
