Slow Cooker Pot Roast Sandwich

Indulge in a mouthwatering slow cooker pot roast sandwich packed with tender beef, melted cheese, and savory seasonings. Perfect for lunch or dinner!

Slow Cooker Pot Roast Sandwich


  • 3-pound beef shoulder roast

  • 1.3-ounce package of pot roast seasoning

  • 1 Tablespoon Chef Politte’s Seasoning

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Onion buns


  1. Place the beef shoulder, the seasonings, and the water in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for about 6 hours

  2. The beef should shred easily with a fork or tongs after cooking, if not, continue to slow cook

  3. Place the bottom of the onion bun on a sheet tray and place about ½ cup of the meat mixture on each bun. Cover with the cheese and place in a preheated 350-degree oven until the cheese melts.

  4. Top the sandwich with the top bun and serve with pickles or hot pepper
