Arrabbiata sauce is a classic Italian pasta sauce known for its bold, spicy flavor. Made primarily from tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and red chili peppers, this sauce gets its signature heat from the addition of crushed red pepper flakes. Traditionally served with penne pasta, arrabbiata sauce is simple yet vibrant, offering a delicious kick that sets it apart from milder tomato-based sauces. The name "arrabbiata" translates to "angry" in Italian, referring to the fiery spice that characterizes the dish.
