Béchamel Sauce


  • 6 Tablespoons butter

  • 3 ½ Tablespoons A/P flour

  • 2 cups of milk

  • Salt and pepper


  1. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat

  2. Slowly add the flour and stir in to make a roux

  3. Cook and stir for approximately 1-2 minutes

  4. Add the milk and whisk until smooth, simmer for about 2 minutes, being careful not to burn

  5. Season with salt and pepper
