2 pounds ground beef
2 Tablespoon cooking oil
1 large onion
2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup flour
4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 package sliced American Cheese
1 Tablespoon chicken base
½ gallon water
Add the oil to a large pot on medium high heat, add the ground beef and begin to brown. Dice the onion and add to the browning meat, continue to brown the meat until thoroughly cooked.
Turn the heat down to medium and stir in flour to form a roux.
Cook roux on medium heat for 5 minutes while continuing to stir. Add water and cook another five minutes while continuing to mix with a whip.
As soup begins to thicken, add Worcestershire, mustard, and chicken base. Continue to stir and add the American cheese a couple of slices at a time until well dissolved and combined into the soup.
Set at low temperature and let cook for 10 minutes.
