Chicken Romanov


  • 4 chicken breast, julienne

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 onion julienned

  • 4 Tablespoon flour

  • 1 ¾ cup chicken stock

  • ½ cup nonfat sour cream


  1. Heat oil in a large skillet

  2. Add onion and cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes

  3. Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes until tender

  4. Sprinkle flour and stir well

  5. Gradually add stock and stir until smooth, allow to thicken while stirring

  6. Reduce heat and add sour cream and using a whisk, stir until well incorporated

Serve with noodles or over rice
