Ingredients
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons flour
1 ¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon chicken
4 slices bread
4 slices cheese
4 slices ham
2 eggs
Salt & pepper to taste
Method
In a small sauce pan over medium heat, melt the butter
Add the flour to the melted butter and whisk to make a roux
Add the milk to the roux and stir until sauce begins to thicken.
Add the chicken base and season with salt and pepper-set aside
Butter one side of each of the bread slices and place them buttered side down in a skillet or large frying pan that has been warmed up over medium heat
Add a slice of cheese to each piece of bread in the pan, and top with slices of ham (Note-If your pan is small and you cannot make 2 sandwiches, you can make one sandwich and repeat the process)
When the bread gets golden brown on the grilled side, and the cheese has melted, place the bread together to make a sandwich, and then set aside off the heat, still on the pan to stay warm.
In a small pan, make sunny side up eggs
Place one egg on each sandwich and cover with the sauce
