Ginger chicken with cabbage is a vibrant, wholesome dish that combines tender pieces of chicken with crisp cabbage, all brought together by the warm and aromatic flavor of fresh ginger. Ginger Chicken with Cabbage
Ingredients
Boneless, skinless chicken breast, bite-sized
Olive oil
Soy sauce
Brown sugar
Ginger, grated
Garlic, minced
Orange or lemon, zested and juiced
Cabbage, shredded
Sesame seeds
Red pepper flakes
Cooked brown rice
Chow mein noodles
Method
Marinate chicken with soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, citrus zest and juice, and red pepper flakes for 15 minutes.
Stir-fry chicken in olive oil until cooked through; set aside.
Sauté cabbage briefly, then return chicken to pan with marinade and cook until heated.
Serve over brown rice, topped with sesame seeds and crunchy chow mein noodles.
