Hash Brown Casserole


  • 2 pounds frozen shredded hash browns

  • ½ large onion

  • ¼ pound butter (melted)

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 3 cups sour cream

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉

  2. Dice the onion and set aside

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ingredients, including the diced onion, and stir well

  4. Place the mixture in a casserole dish and bake uncovered in the oven for about 50 minutes, or until the top becomes bubbly and starts to brown
