Kimchi Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked or raw shrimp, cleaned

  • ½ cup ground or roughly chopped kimchi

  • 3 tablespoon butter

  • 1 Tablespoon chopped garlic

  • 1 Tablespoon chopped ginger

  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

  • ½ lime

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped


Method

  1. Pulse the kimchi in a food processor until ground into a paste.

  2. Over medium-high heat, melt the butter in a large frying pan or wok. Add the shrimp and heat, then add the garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes.

  3. Squeeze in the lime juice and cover with a lid for 2 minutes, then add the kimchi paste and cilantro.

  4. Stir well and cover again for an additional 2 minutes, until the mixture is completely hot. Serve with pasta or rice.
