Navaho Stew

This delicious version of Navaho stew is made with ground beef, onions, three different types of beans, and spices and then slow-cooked to create a rich and flavorful broth. It is often served with rice and is perfect for cold days.
Navaho Stew
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
½ onion, diced
1 Tablespoon taco seasoning
1 Tablespoon ranch dressing mix
1 can of pinto beans
1 can of black beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of Rotel tomatoes
1 can of diced tomatoes
Method
In a large pot or a Dutch oven over medium heat, add the diced onion and the ground beef, and brown until the ground beef is thoroughly cooked.
Add the taco and ranch seasoning to the ground beef.
Drain the beans and then add them to the seasoned beef, stirring well.
Add the tomatoes to the mixture and stir well
Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 1 hour.
