Taco Bell Diablo Sauce

Yields 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 6 ounce can of tomato puree

  • ¾ cup water

  • ½ cup white vinegar

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 2 Tablespoons Aja Panca paste

  • 2 Tablespoons Chipotle peppers in adobo

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 Tablespoons smoked red pepper jalapeno powder

  • 3 Tablespoons red pepper flakes

  • 15 dried cayenne peppers

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil

  2. Simmer for 15 minutes

  3. Cool, then strain through a fine mesh sieve

  4. Keep refrigerated in a sealed jar or bottle for up to 3 weeks
