Ingredients
• 1 Package firm tofu
• 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
• ¼ pound ground pork
• 1 ½ half Tablespoons doubanjiang
• 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
• 2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
• 1 cup chicken stock
• 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
• 1 Tablespoon water
Method
1. Place the oil in a wok or large skillet, and on medium-to-medium high heat, cook the ground pork.
2. While to pork is cooking, dice the tofu and set in a small bowl
3. When the pork is fully cooked, add the doubanjiang and mix well
4. Add the garlic and ginger and continue to stir
5. Add the soy sauce and chicken stock and continue to stir
6. Make a slurry with the cornstarch and water, and add to the mixture and stir as it thickens the dish
7. Add the diced tofu, and incorporate it into the dish, gently tossing as to not break it up.
Serve on rice or noodles, garnish with green onions
